Disciple's Call desires to
spur on individuals and churches to develop a lifestyle of
disciplemaking. This ministry is registered as a not-for-profit
corporation and a non-denominational extension of the Church, with
both a national and international outreach.

David and
Elaine Atchison founded and direct Disciple's
Call, a teaching and writing ministry that is the culmination
of many years of speaking, teaching and writing for
youth and adults. David draws from his background as
a businessman who has experienced both the successes
and failures of competing in the marketplace. He spent
over a decade developing and operating several corporations
in the field of commercial real estate. He has been
a leader in many areas of ministry, including speaking
and teaching; designing and leading worship; and writing,
directing and performing drama. Elaine works part-time
as a pediatric speech-language pathologist, specializing
in infant and early language development. She also writes
for Disciple's Call and other Christian publications.
David and Elaine co-wrote the devotional guide Divine
Appointments, as well as Shaping
the Next Generation—a video-series from LifeWay
and a trade book published by Thomas Nelson Publishers.
They live in Franklin, Tennessee, where their ultimate
ministry is parenting three teenagers!
